Tai Chi for Energy Workshop

This past weekend, I attended a tai chi workshop and learned the Tai Chi for Energy forms. Great workshop! This form combines Chen style and Sun style tai chi. Chen style is new to me, as it is a more vigorous style, combining fast and slow movements. Sun style is the most familiar, with gentle, relaxing, slower paced movements. The combination of both styles makes for a beautifully balanced, interesting, and complex set of movements. I enjoy the workshops, not only because I enjoy learning new things; they allow me to touch base with the tai chi community and reconnect with the trainers, and meet fellow students. As much as I love teaching tai chi and meditation, I also love being the student!

I attended this workshop, held by Dr Paul Lam and his team of master trainers. The training workshops are for everybody.
